  • CareerReady

For more than 50 years, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School has been a leader in serving students with individualized learning needs. Our CareerReady Program, proudly supported by the Charles and Salome Reymann Foundation, blends tradition with innovation to prepare students with developmental disabilities for life beyond high school.
Through small-group instruction, everyday skill-building, and hands-on work experiences, CareerReady empowers students to build independence and confidence for college, career, and daily life. Students practice essential life skills such as budgeting, transportation, and communication while exploring career interests through internships, job shadowing, and community service.

Services

CareerReady students practice essential life skills such as budgeting, transportation, and communication, while also exploring career interests through internships and job shadowing. With personalized support from expert educators and strong partnerships with local organizations such as Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD), students are equipped to gain confidence, independence, and self-advocacy skills. STVM serves students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) through the Jon Peterson and Autism scholarships. Scholarships are available through the Ohio Department of Education.

At STVM, CareerReady ensures every graduate is prepared with the tools, experience, and faith-driven values to build a bright future.
