  • Intervention Services Program

The Intervention Services Department provides a comprehensive, student-centered curriculum focused around the five characteristics of Marianist Education. Our goal is for students to learn and independently use academic and executive functioning skills for successful transition into the college and career settings. STVM serves students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) through the Jon Peterson and Autism scholarships. Scholarships are available through the Ohio Department of Education.

Services

We offer varying levels of academic classes to prepare students for life beyond high school based on each student’s post-graduation goals. Intervention specialists collaborate with classroom teachers to further support students.

  • Transition to Work

In January 2021, STVM launched a transition-to-work program for students with special needs. In partnership with the Charles and Salome Reymann Foundation, we are able to offer transition services, including career exploration and job based internships, to ensure students have the skills to be successful in the workplace. As part of the vocational training class, students will receive job coaching while working at local businesses in order to gain employment upon graduation. This program offers them the specific training and skill development to turn their dreams into real accomplishments!
