Transportation to St. Vincent-St. Mary

Transportation Made Simple
St. Vincent–St. Mary High School is conveniently located just west of downtown Akron at the corner of Market and North Maple, providing easy access from across Summit, Stark, Medina, and Cuyahoga counties. Whether through STVM-operated shuttles, school districts, or public transit, families have flexible and reliable options to get to campus each day. 

STVM Routes
Beginning with the 2027–2028 school year, STVM will offer roundtrip transportation along three major corridors, designed to better serve our growing community with consistent, reliable access to campus, no minimum riders required. 
  • Flexible transportation plans are available, including AM-only, PM-only, roundtrip, and full- or partial-year options.
  • STVM shuttle service requires registration and fee.
  • Families receive clear communication and updates throughout the process. 
Route 1: 1-71 / Route 18 corridor near Medina
Route 2: Route 8 / I-271 corridor near Solon & Macedonia 
Route 3: 1-77 corridor near Pro Football Hall of Fame


Public School District Transportation 
Some local school districts provide direct transportation to STVM.

Payment-in-Lieu Options 
Many districts offer financial reimbursement in place of transportation.

Metro Bus Service 
Students who live in the Akron Public School district may be eligible for free or reduced-priced metro passes. Call Merge Freeman of Metro Central Registration/Bus Passes at 330.761.2961 regarding eligibility and to arrange an appointment to complete the process for obtaining a pass.
