Service Hours

In the Spirit of the Gospel and in the Marianist Tradition, St. Vincent-St. Mary students inspire our Spirit and reveal the Face of God in the world using their ordinary gifts in an extraordinary way...Called by Baptism, Sent by Confirmation, and nourished in the Eucharist, students seek to espouse, embrace, and embody God's Reign, in service to others, and through these efforts protect human rights, steward the earth's resources, and promote peace. Students complete 100 Christian Service hours as a graduation requirement and earn an academic credit for these efforts.

Requirements - Students need to earn 25 service hours per year they attend STVM. They are always welcome to complete more than 25 hours of service. At least 15 of these service hours must be in service to the poor and marginalized outside of our school walls and grounds. Only 10 hours of service can be recorded toward the 25 service hours in any given school year.  In-school service hours include: working concessions, ticketing, cleaning or helping a teacher, student ambassador*, student office workers, etc. Students who do not complete their service hours will be asked to complete 50 hours the following year or may not be permitted to return to STVM, as these hours are marked on the report card. All of this information is listed in our student handbook.

MobileServe Website - MobileServe is the website we are using to have students log their hours, send emails to the sites they completed hours for verification. This program allows students to see their hours completed at any time. Most students will log into MobileServe and claim their account in Theology classes, but if they haven't, they should look for the email from MobileServe and following the instructions on how to claim their account. All service hours are due May 1. Seniors may be asked to submit their service hours prior to May 1.

Student Login Instructions for MobileServe - Please follow the link below to complete your signup and claim your account. You can claim your account by clicking login with Google and using your stvm.com student account. It should automatically log you in. IMPORTANT: Don't share this link.
